WHODrug Koda is an automated coding service custom-built by UMC. The service is specifically designed for increasing the efficiency, consistency and quality of drug coding, with the end goal of safer use of medicines.
UMC recognizes that the vital activity of drug coding can be both challenging and time consuming. The ever-expanding number of drugs available on the global market will increase the need for automated services for drug coding. We are therefore delighted to announce the introduction of a new automated coding engine: WHODrug Koda.
A trial application will be available from October 2018. All users of WHODrug are invited to try WHODrug Koda for a limited number of terms (100), through a web-based application accessible via the link below or the UMC toolbox.
The first official release of WHODrug Koda is planned for early 2019. The service will be available as: (1) an API service, which can be integrated in your existing coding tool or similar, or (2) an intuitive web application.
