WHODrug Global subscriptions are available to the following types of organisations.
Organisations such as pharmaceutical companies, biotech companies, CROs/Service providers. Other companies that would like to use WHODrug will be considered on a case by case basis.
Non-profit organisations undertaking research and educational activities and any non-commercial organisation conducting non-commercial work. Other organisations that would like to use WHODrug will be considered on a case by case basis.
Organisations that develop software products that use WHODrug products. The use of WHODrug by system developers/vendors is limited to providing software only and not WHODrug services such as coding, analysis, or transmission of WHODrug coded data.
All Regulatory authorities in need of identifying and classifying medicinal products are eligible to subscribe to a WHODrug Global license.
All National Pharmacovigilance Centres that are part of the WHO Programme for International Drug Monitoring are eligible to receive WHODrug Global at no charge for non-commercial use. The use of WHODrug Global can facilitate identification of local and foreign medicines as well as the assessment of individual case safety reports.
